[Translate] Bedford & Co at The Renwick hotel is the newest solo venture for Chef John DeLucie (formerly of The Crown, Waverly Inn and other buzzy restaurants several years ago). This is a new restaurant of about two months old that is still working out the small kinks with service but the food was incredibly good. [Translate] Alexis Hotel is an upscale boutique hotel, featuring 121 eclectic guestrooms that cater to every possible personality, is about as perfectly located as a downtown hotel can be. Many of Seattle’s most desirable sightseeing destinations are within easy walking distance, as are a vast selection of top-notch restaurants. It also sits right on First Avenue, directly above Puget Sound; a few rooms do have partial water views but many face neighboring buildings. [Translate] I had breakfast with the popular travel blogger, Julie of A Lady in London, at Plum + Spilt Milk. This restaurant is located in the upscale boutique Great Northern Hotel in King’s Cross, overseen by Chef Mark Sargeant. This hotel restaurant is swanky with its dark navy blue walls, dark wood, and curving cream colored leather booth seats mixed with striking pendant light fixtures. The restaurant’s name comes from a nickname given to the original LNWR dining car, painted in the railway’s traditional livery colors. [Translate] Asana’s dining room During our final morning at the serene, luxurious Mandarin Oriental Boston, we had breakfast at their restaurant Asana. Our beverages: Cappuccino, Carafe of Stumptown Coffee; Fresh grapefruit juice; Fresh cranberry-grapefruit juice We started with a flight of fresh squeezed juices (grapefruit and cranberry-grapefruit) and caffeine (cappuccino, organic French pressed coffee, and carafe of Stumptown drip coffee) to wake us up.
