Atlantic City’s Boardwalk (Photo by photobylove via Flickr)
As my crazy summer agenda filled with food events, I’m heading out to Atlantic City’s Food and Wine Festival checking out a few events. Excited? Of course and as always, I’ll be providing coverage for you all who can’t make it out there. Hopefully you can vicariously live through my experiences with my photos and recap.
Obviously, this isn’t a typical food or beverage related post as you can tell by the title. I recently signed up with Ford’s Fordcast tour for the next several weeks hanging out with Ford and checking out the new 2012 Focus as a part of the Ford Fordcast Tour. Expect my relatively silly self in the near future, talking about the car and its cool features. Don’t worry, I’m not going to preposterous levels mentioning Ford on this site. Just talk about them a little bit.
How does this work out for you? You and your guest can join me to Atlantic City’s 2nd Annual Food and Wine Festival on Saturday, July 30, 2011!* This huge food event is headlining Food Network’s chefs Sunny Anderson, Guy Fieri, Robert Irvine, Pat and Gina Neely to showcase their culinary talents. Hosted by Caesars Atlantic City, Harrah’s Resort, Showboat and Bally’s. The ground transportation will be covered within the New York tri-State area so you may spend an afternoon with me (or not), eat and drink until you explode, and hopefully mingle with celebrity chefs and attractive people. Sounds like fun? I think so.

Hey Tina, this is such a neat opportunity! I’d love to go with my husband b/c it’s his bday on Friday and he has to work late so we were trying to think of something to do on the weekend, and this would be perfect. =)
My fave feature of the Ford Focus is the rain-sensing windshield wipers!

Who wouldn’t want to go to the AC Food and Wine Festival? Food, Wine, Beach and Slot Machines! That’s why I want to go!
My favorite feature of the Ford Focus is the Exclusive MyFord Touch!
Would be a wonderful time in AC eating and drinking some new things. My favorite feature of the focus is the parking package. Perfect for city living!
When you live in New York City during the summer you can feel the heat, however if I could I would head down to Atlantic City where that cool breeze blows in from the Atlantic ocean. I’d drop a few quarters in the slots stroll my way through the Food and Wine Festival, drinking, laughing and knowing that for once I was out of the heat. The great thing is I would owe my entire trip on the fact that I commented that my favorite feature of the Ford Focus is knowing that the car of my dreams has a kick butt 6 speed powershift automatic transmission. That smooth transition will help me as I make trips across the country, now I can eat, shift and park effortlessly knowing that Ford cares.
Being originally from the midwest, I have only been down to AC once. Would love to go back and experience what the food and wine fest has to offer. I think the push to start feature of the focus sounds pretty cool. Parking assistant feature would be nice as well!
What a great opportunity. Recently, I was travelling in sunny FLorida with my mom and we rented a Ford Focus. The best features are the roomy interior which for a car of this class and value you wouldnt expect. Also, the sound system was terrific as we cruised the shores of Sanibel Island. We had more than enough room for our luggage and all of our beach stuff–not to mention GREAT gas mileage.
On the business of the AC food and wine festival– I grew up with the Food Network and have been an avid follower ever since. From the beginning with Emeril and now with the Next food Network Star, each year the Food Network provides a new fresh take on the food & dining realm. I am contmeplating a career change into the food industry so to be surrounded by people that have the same love of food and wine that I share would be fantastic! Cheers!
thank you thank you thank you, Ford and Tina [The Wandering Eater] for this amazing opportunity! my husband and i are extremely excited to check out the festivities on Saturday! =)
