Pisacco (Milan, Italy)

One of the dinners we had while in Milan was at this modern, informal wine bar with very good food called Pisacco. This is the sister restaurant to Dry Milano. We started off with a lovely, refreshingly bubbly Franciacorta with house made potato chips that are wonderfully crispy, thick cut and fresh from the fryer and the crunchy puffed quinoa chips. Unique Wine Bar at Wester Wijnfabriek (Amsterdam, The Netherlands)

Wester Wijnfabriek is located in the Westergarten area of Amsterdam. It’s a wine bar, wine shop, wine lab and wine tasting all under one roof. The bar of Wester Wijnfabriek Amsterdam is downstairs, where we hanged out. Warm wood and marble makes up the bar, making it feel cozy and chic at the same time. (This place feels totally right for a first date.) In the bar part you can order sandwiches and bites that match the natural wines perfectly. (more…)

Quimet y Quimet, Barcelona, Spain

Exterior of Quimet y Quimet (with people waiting) and inside the small bar Quimet y Quimet is one of the most popular tapas bar in Barcelona. I do agree with him that this is an expensive, casual restaurant. (Side note, this is my second meal here. The first one seen..

Terroir Wine Bar and Desserts at the Dessert Truck

Terroir Several weeks ago, I had a light dinner with a bunch of girl friends, Giulia, Helen, and Sarah at Terroir. We figured going out to a funky, affordable wine bar that won’t break the bank since a few of us are still in school and we don’t want to go broke for one night of fun. (more…)
