Holiday Gift Guide 2014

Somehow this year, time flew by and marketing started to talk about Thanksgiving and Christmas much earlier than I anticipated. Then when you look at the calendar, Thanksgiving is next week(!) and that officially kicks off the holiday shopping rush. Mother’s Day Gift Ideas 2012

In case you haven’t checked your calendar, Mother’s Day is two Sundays from now – May 13, 2012! Just to give you some ideas what you may give for your beloved mom, here’s some food (prepared and ingredients) and wine ideas. Nicolas Feuillatte Rosé Tasting & Champagne Lunch

I had the honor and pleasure to be part of Nicolas Feuillatte Rosé Champagne tasting and lunch at Le Cirque in New York City earlier this week. Le Cirque is an elegant, upscale French restaurant, tucked in the large glass skyscraper of the Bloomberg Building. The restaurant’s dining rooms (upstairs private room and the main dining room) had lighting fixtures that vaguely reminds me of Dale Chihuly’s colorful artwork at the ceiling of Bellagio. All of us were told to go upstairs, greeted with glasses of Nicolas Feuillatte Brut Champagne NV. (more…)

I had the honor and pleasure to be part of Nicolas Feuillatte Rosé Champagne tasting and lunch at Le Cirque in New York City earlier this week. J. Dumangin Fils Rosé Champagné With the Oscar’s coming up this weekend, hosting an intimate, glamorous dinner party at home calls for a fine bottle of Champagne (with good food, of course). I recently came across Henri’s Reserve, an e-boutique that specializes in curating small, artisan Champagne houses. They sell its best Champagnes that connoisseurs would know about but not easily found in wine shops (at least within NYC). I recently gotten myself J. Dumangin Fils Rosé Champagné NV ($55). I couldn’t find this particular house’s Champagnes around New York City but have heard of it because of Paul McCartney..

A Few Suggestions to Toast to New Year’s

Since New Year’s Eve is coming up in less than 3 days, instead of scrambling what to do for New Year’s Eve, here’s a few suggestions how you can celebrate.
