Kim: Yes, the pork butt rules!
All the dishes but the pork butt (or bo ssam) are small. Don't ask me why but they are considered "small dishes" in the menu but some are worth the money (e.g. the brussels sprouts and apple kimchi).

The pork butt's around 4 to 6 pounds of meat. I'm not too sure but it's around that much. Mmmm...sweet meat. :)

Hahaha! Thanks for making me laugh! The thing is, I don't have any standing (law word meaning I don't have any harm inflicted upon me to whomever I sue). But it's still funny by the thought of it!

I will totally see you!

I was thinking about you the whole time on Saturday- you and the foodies and the pork butt :P looks yummy juicy!
One question, why does all the other dishes look so small??

and you can become a lawyer and have your food side. Do the lawyer thing until you build up enough street cred and experience in the food side, then switch, and sue everyone who doesn't agree with your reviews :D hehee

see you before year's end!

Danny: No, I haven't seen that episode! But I'll watch it in YouTube.

Yeah, that pork bun's awesome!

Giulia: Everything we ate today was awesome! ...except for Veniero's.

Hahaha..."dining out in cute cocktail dresses" if life could be that way for me, it's heaven. ;)

Vanessa: Hi! Thank you for stumbling here by accident. :) NYC has a lot of good food, we just need to find it. You can totally move to NYC...if you want.

From what I can tell, paralegals get worked a lot, and they make less than the legal secretaries... it is a bit unfair if you ask me.

Did you see David Chang make those pork buns on Martha Stewart's show? That stuff is so delicious.

Dana: Aww...thanks! :) It's going to be a couple of years 'til I'll actually be a real lawyer.

Anyways, Le Bernadine is meant to be really, really sophisticated in every way it can be: service, food, decor,...you name it. It just feel so sterile. The only notable dishes there were the Kanpachi that Ariel had and the Chocolate-Corn dessert I had.

When it comes to Momofuku, it's casual food and atmosphere that you can really chill out either by yourself or with a bunch of friends. That's what makes it so appealing to the masses, I think.

Doug: Yes! We can jump, man! It's LOTS of fun. I would do it again...if I wasn't so sick.

I can be a fatalist if I want to. Well, once school's over and I don't have to worry about not getting a job, then I would be an optimist. Ok?

Helen: Don't worry about it, hon. I'm still looking for a paralegal job since it pays much better than a writer would.

Sure, I would love to do food writing and photography for a living, but it doesn't exactly pay well. But it can be a tad glamorous working with celeb chefs and food writers who I've read for many years....

The bo ssam is not meant to be traditional at all, it's a fusion of Korean food with other cuisines and flavors.

And you're welcome on the gianduja ganache. Damn, you've finished half of it?! You're crazy girl!
